TYPES OF GUA SHA TOOLS

Heart Tool: Most widely used tool.  Daily on clean skin for 3-5 minutes. Used for the neck and face. Target the cheekbones, forehead muscles, both large and small facial areas, refresh undereye.  Brows, Lips, and neck.

Feather Tool: This is a multipurpose tool which has three sides for scraping.  Can be used on the face and neck, however is mainly used for larger parts of the body such as the chest, biceps, triceps, forearms, and shoulders.  Also, can be used on back and legs but should only be used for small localized areas.

Mushroom Tool: Are useful for relieving tension in the neck and shoulder areas. All areas of the mushroom tool; head, root and edge can be used.  This tool is also great for the undereye bag area, but be careful as this area is thin and sensitive.

Butterfly Tool: One of my favorites! Not only because it is a beautiful design, but because it is a multifaceted tool for many areas of the skin.  The different areas of the butterfly tool are great for the brow, cheekbones, jawline, forehead and even the shoulder and neck area.  The rounded bottom of the butterfly is great for the smile lines, and the lips.  This is my go-to Gua Sha tool for effectively massaging and scraping.

Comb Tool: This is a multi-tasking Gua Sha tool for both the face and the scalp.  The teeth of the comb tool are great for massaging and stimulating the scalp/hair follicles and to also promote stimulation and collagen within the skin tissue on the face and other parts of the body.  This tool is similar to body brushing to boost lymphatic drainage and increase circulation.

Half Moon: Similar to the Heart tool, the half-moon shaped took is used to scrap and massage the skin to boost lymphatic drainage and increase blood circulation.  This will help in the production of collagen to help reduce the look of fine lines and dull skin.  This tool can also be used on areas like the neck, shoulders, legs and arms.
